“ On our way to a family movie night we decided to get a quick dinner here. The service was great 5 of us sat comfortably at a big booth. They had so many option for long Island iced teas. Very fun to choose.. we got burgers and fries and a gyro and wraps. The food was great the server was very friendly. Great dining experience and would come here many more times for breakfast lunch or dinner. ”

“ Ive been going here for over 15 years and this Union Plaza Diner remains consistently excellent today was no exception. I ordered the ribeye and shrimp scampi combo with penne, greek salad, and matzo ball soup. This is the only diner I know that serves a complimentary greek salad with your entree and the salad comes with anchovies on request. Ill always stop by whenever Im in the area ”
“ Have to say i didnt expect much when we came in but service was great and the food was delicious. There was 6 in our group and we were seated quick. Server was quick to bring our drinks and some bread. We didnt have to wait long for our dinner to come to our table. WOW portions were HUGE and the food was fantastic. The lasagna was one of the best i have had second only to my grandmas. Server was quick to get us refills and to clear our table of dishes and always had a smile on her face. I wish I could remember her name but I have always been bad at them. Dont forget to try the bakery items, we took some back to our hotel and before the night was over they were gone. If you are a local and never been here you should stop by you have no idea what you are missing. And for those of you just passing by look no more for a meal believe me you will not regret it. We will be back next time we are in NJ. Already have reservations for the hotel down the street for next year. ”
“ My husband and I have begun to make excuses to go to this part of town. Maybe we need to go to shopping? Or do we really just want to go to the Union Diner?! The place has an amazing menu! So many items from which to choose, so I guess we will have to go a lot of times to try it all! Haha! My favorite so far is the chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan combo with pasta, a salad, and soup! The cream of turkey, when they have it, is HEAVEN! I get this for myself and take my leftovers home. The portions are generous and this feeds me for a couple meals. Service has consistently been excellent, no matter what time of day or what day of the week weve stopped in to enjoy a bite! ”
